Perfectionism

Develop a different relationship with mistakes, uncertainty, and self-judgment

Perfectionism is often mistaken for ambition, discipline, or high standards.

More often, it develops when mistakes feel unusually costly, whether because of criticism, disappointment, failure, rejection, or the fear of not being enough.

Perfectionism is often treated as a problem of expectations.

My work focuses on understanding what makes mistakes feel so difficult to tolerate in the first place, and how self-worth, identity, and fear can become tied to performance.

The goal is not to lower your standards, but to loosen the pressure, self-criticism, and anxiety that make those standards so difficult to live with.
